W. T. Grant Jeans (late 1950s - 1960s)

W. T. Grant was one of the largest chain stores in the United States and apparently also produced and sold clothing. Here are the company's jeans in a light ounce fabric. There is no flasher or other material attached, but the use of a cam-lock zipper suggests that it was produced in the late 1950s-1960s. W. T. Grant is described in detail in Wikipedia.

W.T.Grant_outseam

W.T.Grant_fabric

fabric

Although it's 3×1, the fabric is clearly a light ounce. The dye is relatively deep, but slightly bluish. There is not much of a slubby feel, but the nips and weave scratches are noticeable.
