This is a youth model of the 11MWZ, a typical Wrangler model, and may have been built in 1951 or 1952. In the case of Levi's 501XX, all sizes under 29 inches were modeled as Youth Boys models (503BXX,504ZXX) at that time, but I have not been able to confirm whether the Wrangler with small waist was a coexistence of 11MWZ and Youth Boys or only Youth Boys. The basic specifications of the 11MWZ are the same as those of the 11MWZ, such as the top button and no snap button.
This is a straight model that goes straight down to the 1950s, but it seems to be made a little narrower for the youth model.
The Wrangler's specification that the belt loops at the back could be attached to the left and right sides of the car in addition to the center was already adopted at this time. The center pellet loop is an offset belt loop.
flasher
In a slightly later era, there would be cutouts that would show patches of PVC, but these don't have them, so you can't see the PVC patches. On the left are the successive rodeo champions, but the fact that they are listed as far back as 1950 suggests that this product was made after 1950.
tag
The zip fly, part number, size, and number of ounces of denim are noted. It's hard to find them because they come off so quickly when you wash them.
inner tag
It's an embroidered tag, sewn on all four sides. The bell marks are straight, not diagonal." The letter "W" begins with the outer volume and the size notation is at the bottom right." There is no "○R" mark yet.
booklet
The most famous Wrangler booklet is a gimmie book with short comics, but this period is not yet a gimmie book. The booklet is shared with jeans, jackets and shirts.
booklet
The beginning of the left page shows that this booklet was called the "Souvenir Booklet". It was also noted that five of the six cowboys in the 1951 U.S. National Team for the World Championship wore Wranglers. This indicates that these jeans were made after 1951. On the right is Rodeo Ben, the designer of the Wrangler.
booklet
What follows is an introduction to some of the rough riders and the Wranglers they wear, some of which are considered the flowers of the rodeo.
booklet
Next up was the introduction of Lang jeans. The fabric is described as 11oz (8oz for children and women), rivets that won't damage furniture or saddles, button fly and zip fly for men and zip fly for women, narrow legs to fit the saddle, deep front pockets, and ample back pockets.
back pocket
The stitching of W is also slightly deep in the back pocket. A familiar rivet is attached to the top edge. Despite the differences in stitching, the basic style is still the same as the current one.
rivet (back)
A rivet with a bump in the middle. It's not just rivet reinforcement, but cannubis reinforcement as well.
トtop button (back)
The button is engraved with Jomon script. There is no reinforcement next to the top button like the Levi's V-stitching.
coin pocket
Some Wrangler jeans have one end of the coin pocket reinforced with a rivet, but this is only a cannubis reinforcement.
outseam
It is sewn with a double stitched rollover stitch. The ears may be used, but you can't tell from the exterior. The hem remains original, but has been stitched with a single stitch.
