BOBSON S28 (early 1970s)

These are straight jeans by Bobson, and since they are made of American fabric, they were probably manufactured in the early 1970s. According to the data, Bobson was established in 1950 as a manufacturer of school uniforms under the name of "Yamao Hifuku Kogyo", and started manufacturing and selling "Bobson" jeans in 1971, changing the company name to Bobson in 1973. The products introduced here do not have "Yamao Hifuku Kogyo" written on the flasher, etc., so it is assumed that they were made after the company name was changed. The model number of the product is not clear, but since the patch says "S28", I assume that this is the model number and have included it here.

This is a rare pair of jeans made in Japan, and is a rigid product with glue.
Moderately thick and straight, similar to Levi's 501. Not very tapered.

This patch has the trademark longhorn on it, and the lot number is "S28", but the official lot number is unknown. It says "MATERIAL MADE IN U.S.A." instead of "MADE IN U.S.A."

There is no longhorn on the flasher, but there is a cowboy with the words "AUTHENTIC WESTERN JEANS". The flasher also has "MATERIAL MADE IN U.S.A." on it.
